Clutch Pedal - Clicking Noise When Depressed

CLUTCH PEDAL IS DEPRESSED NEAR FLOOR -
4.9L AND 5.0L ENGINES

LIGHT TRUCK:
1994-95 BRONCO, F-150, F-250

ISSUE:
A "clicking" noise occurs when the clutch pedal is depressed approximately 25 mm (1") from the floor. This is due to contact between the clutch diaphragm spring fingers and the slave cylinder retaining snap ring.

ACTION:
Replace Clutch Pressure Plate and Cover Assembly (FOTA-7563-EA) with revised Clutch Pressure Plate and Cover Assembly (F5TA-7563-EA). Refer to the 1994 or 1995 F-150/Bronco Service Manual, Powertrain/Drivetrain, Section 08-01 for service procedure.
