- Set ohmmeter on 200 ohm scale.

- Measure resistance between valve harness connector Pin 3 and negative battery post.

- Is resistance 3 ohms or less?

Resistance is less than 3 ohms -- Circuit is not open. Go to 4.5. 4.5

Resistance is greater than 3 ohms -- Find and repair open circuit along Circuit 535 (LB/R). Go to 4.10. 4.10
