NOTE: When the battery ground cable has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.

- Reconnect battery ground cable.

- Is an intermittent open circuit found?

YES -- Repair as needed. Go to 4.10. 4.10

NO -- Go to 4.9. 4.9
