A1 Perform Visual Inspection
- Check for insufficient brake fluid, leaks, damaged wheel speed sensors or rotors, and damaged hydraulic actuator assembly.
- Check the ABS system wiring harness for improper connections, bent or broken pins, corrosion, loose wires, and proper routing.
- Check all of the fuses for proper connection or damage.
- Check the ABS control module for physical damage.
- Are all of the components OK?
YES -- Go to A2. A2 Perform Vehicle Preparation
NO -- Service the fault(s) in question. Go to A2. A2 Perform Vehicle Preparation
