FD2 - KOEO DTC 1703

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 1703 indicates that during Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test, voltage was seen on the BOO Test Pin at the PCM.

Possible Causes:
- Brake pedal pressed during KOEO Self-Test.
- BOO Test Pin shorted to B+.
- Defective brake switch.

- Was brake pedal pressed during KOEO Self-Test?

YES -- RERUN KOEO Self-Test. Avoid pressing brake pedal during test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- Go to FD3. FD3 - Check Operation of Stoplamps
