Intermittent Signal to Antilock Control Unit During Decel








POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Intermittent open or shorted sensor circuit.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Perform intermittent diagnosis for Circuits 519(LG/BK) and 523(R/PK) between anti-lock electronic control unit and sensor.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Intermittent open sensor circuit at intermediate connections especially bulkhead.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Perform intermittent diagnosis for Circuit 519(LG/BK) and 523(R/PK) at intermediate connectors.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Chafed wire insulation or pinched wire due to improper routing causing intermittent short.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect wiring harness from rear axle assembly (4006) to frame (5005) for chafing or rub marks.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Underhood sensor test connector shorted.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect underhood sensor test connector for presence of cap, corrosion, and excessive dirt in the terminal cavities.
