POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Worn or scored brake drums and lining or front disc brake hub and rotors (1102).

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect, repair or replace as required.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Burrs or rust on front disc brake caliper that would obstruct seating of shoe to front disc brake caliper.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Clean or deburr front disc brake caliper.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Dirty, greased or glazed linings.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Clean or replace.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Improper lining parts or loose rear brake adjustment.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect for correct usage. If necessary replace with correct type in axle sets.

POSSIBLE SOURCE(S):
- Other brake system components.
- Loose lining rivets.
- Weak, damaged or incorrect brake shoe retracting springs (2296).
- Loose or damaged shoe retaining pins, brake shoe retracting springs and clips.
- Grooved backing plate ledges.

ACTION(S) TO TAKE:
- Inspect, repair or replace as required.
