PB11 - Check Spout Circuit For Short to Power and Ground



- Key "OFF".

- Ignition Control Module (ICM) disconnected.

- Breakout box installed, leave Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Measure resistance between test pin 36 and test pins 16 and 40 at the breakout box.

- Measure resistance between test pin 36 at the breakout box and battery positive post.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Replace ICM. Electronic Engine Controls (EEC) system OK. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service Spark Output (SPOUT) circuit for short to power or ground. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
