AIS 6 Bimetal Sensor Check

Bimetal Sensor:

^ Check the bimetal sensor.

^ Bring the temperature of the bimetal sensor below 24°C (75°F) and apply 54 kPa (16 in Hg) vacuum.

^ Does the door close (go to the hot air position)?

YES -- Go to AIS 7. AIS 7 Air Filter Check

NO -- Replace bimetal sensor.
