Manual Steering

1. Disconnect flex coupling shield from input shaft shield and slide it to upper part of intermediate shaft.
2. Remove bolt securing flex coupling to steering gear and remove steering gear input shaft shield.
3. Raise and support vehicle and remove pitman arm using a suitable puller.

4. Remove bolts securing gear to side rail and remove steering gear from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install, making sure gear is centered and flat on input shaft and is aligned with flat on flex coupling.
