Access the parking brake shoe and linings and inspect for worn or damaged parts. Replace as necessary. Remove debris or foreign objects that may interfere with parking brake operation.

Inspect the parking brake control (2780) for worn or damaged parts. Repair or replace as necessary. Operate and observe the parking brake control to detect a binding condition or other malfunction. Repair or replace components as necessary.
