- Apply pressure to the pedal until the pedal starts to go down, then hold, not exerting any more force.

- Does the pedal continue to travel downward?

YES -- Check entire brake system for major leak. Repair as required. Go to Diagnosis by Symptom.

NO -- Condition resolved.
