Timing Chain: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove engine Timing Cover, then set No. 1 piston to TDC.
2. Replace crankshaft pulley bolt, then turn crankshaft until timing marks on camshaft and crankshaft sprockets are aligned.
3. Remove camshaft sprocket retaining bolt, then slide both sprockets and chain forward and remove as an assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install, ensure timing marks are aligned as outlined in step 2.
