With Automatic Transmission

PURPOSE
The Transfer Case Assembly allows the driver to shift from "2H" to "4H" at any vehicle speed.

It also allows the driver to shift from "4H" to "4L" when the vehicle is stopped and the Park/Neutral Position Switch is closed.
