DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION The low oil level sensor is mounted to the side of oil pan. When the oil level is at
1.4L (1.5 qt), the low oil level sensor closes the circuit to ground and the low oil level warning comes on. When the oil level raises above
1.4L (1.5 qt) the low oil level sensor opens the circuit to ground.
