Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

A/C Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Assembly:

2. Remove the A/C ambient air temperature sensor and bracket mounting nut and remove the A/C ambient air temperature sensor and bracket.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the A/C ambient air temperature sensor and bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C ambient air temperature sensor and bracket.
2. Position the A/C ambient air temperature sensor and bracket and install the retaining nut and tighten to 6.2-7.3 Nm (55-64 in lb).
3. Connect the battery ground cable.
4. Check the system for proper operation.
