AA19 - Isolate Shorts In PCM
- Key "OFF".
- Breakout box installed.
- Reconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to breakout box.
- Measure resistance between test pin 56 and test pins 16, 20, 40, 46 and 60 (short to ground) and test pins 26, 37 and 57 (short to power).
- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes -- Go to AA20. AA20 - Check PIP Signal
No -- Replace PCM. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
