DH20 - Perform Dynamic Response Test At Wide Open Throttle

NOTE: Engine Running Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 167 indicates the Throttle Position (TP) sensor did not exceed 25 percent of its rotation during the Dynamic Response Test. A complete wide open throttle must be performed during the Dynamic Response portion of the test.

- Run Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test. Key ON Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test

Be sure a complete Wide Open Throttle (WOT) is performed during the Dynamic Response portion of the test.

- Is DTC 167 still present?

Yes -- Go to DH21. DH21 - Check TP Sensor Movement During Dynamic Response Test

No -- Unable to duplicate DTC 167 at this time. Go to EEC-IV Diagnostic Trouble Code Charts to service other Engine Running DTCs. Otherwise, testing completed. Manufacturer Code Charts
