FD - Testing Notes

Description
The Brake On/0ff (BOO) input is wired to the stoplamp circuit and informs the PCM when the brake is applied. The BOO input is used primarily by the Torque Converter Clutch lock/unlock strategy.

NOTE:
You should enter this Pinpoint Test only when you have been directed here from Diagnostic Routines.

REMEMBER:
This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- BOO circuit

- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
