FD6 - Check For Short to Power In Processor

- Key "OFF".

- Brake switch disconnected.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Are stoplamps still on?

Yes -- Go to FD7. FD7 - Check For Short to Power In Shiftlock Actuator

No -- Replace PCM. Reconnect brake switch. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
