FD92 - Check Stoplamp/BOO Circuits For Short to Power



- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Brake pedal NOT depressed.

- Wiggle stoplamp/Brake On/Off (BOO) circuit wires and connectors while observing stoplamps.

- Do stoplamps flash on while wiggling?

Yes -- Isolate short to power and service as necessary. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Go to FD93. FD93 - Check Stoplamp Circuit Continuity
