FF23 - Check PSPS State W/Key On Engine Off Vs. Engine Running



- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box and connect PCM to breakout box.

- Reconnect Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch.

- Key "ON", engine "OFF" .

- Measure resistance between test pin 28 and test pin 46 at the breakout box.

- Start engine.

- Does resistance remain greater than 10 ohms between engine Off and engine Running?

Yes -- Go to FF24. FF24 - Check PSPS State w/Engine Running and Load vs. No Load

No -- Replace PSP switch. Remove breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
