KE30 - Code 415: Check For Air Leaks



Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 415 indicates the Idle Air Control (IAC) adaptive learning has reached the minimum limit.

NOTE: For a brief description of a IAC adaptive strategy, refer to Testing Notes. KE - Testing Notes

Possible Causes:

- Air leaks.

- Throttle body/linkage binding.

- Damaged IAC solenoid.

- Key "OFF".

- Inspect the entire inlet air system for leaks such as loose connection at throttle body or air cleaner, cracked or punctured ducting, etc.

- Is an air leak detected in the air inlet system?

Yes -- Service as necessary. Clear Keep Alive Memory. Clearing Keep Alive Memory (KAM) and Relearn Procedure

Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Go to KE31.
