X13 - Check PFC Circuit For Short to Ground
- Key "OFF".
- Pusher Fan Control (PFC) relay disconnected.
- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.
- Measure resistance between test pin 34 and test pin 40 at the breakout box.
- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes -- Go to X14. X14 - Check PFC Circuit Continuity
No -- Service short circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
