X140 - Harness Continuity of High Speed Power to Fan Circuits

- Key "OFF".

- Cooling fan disconnected.

- Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) disconnected.

- Measure resistance between Pin 1 and Pin 12 of the CCRM vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Service open in high speed Power-To-Fan circuit between Pins 1/2/12/24 splice and the cooling fan. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Service open in high speed Power-To-Fan circuit between Pins 1/2/12/24 splice and CCRM. After service, go to X141 to verify proper operation of both High Fan Control (HFC) relays in CCRM. X141 - Verify Operation of Both HFC Relays In CCRM
