1. On vehicles equipped with catalytic converters, observe the following precautions:
^ Use only "UNLEADED FUEL."
^ Avoid running out of fuel.
^ In case of poor engine operation (misfire), avoid driving and correct the problem immediately.
^ Avoid push or pull starting.
2. Service vehicle at regular scheduled maintenance intervals.
3. Always be alert for fuel odors and excessive tail pipe emissions (black smoke). These are problem indicators.
4. DO NOT attempt to dismantle the steering column on vehicles equipped with air bags. Personal injury and vehicle damage may result.
