^ An ignition intermittent analyzer (Rotunda 007-00075) or equivalent is required to detect and repair intermittent faults in Ford ignition systems.

^ If the Rotunda 007-00075 (DIST) or equivalent is being used the diagnostic procedures provided with the tester or the procedures in this Section may be used.

^ If an ignition intermittent analyzer is not available, GO to 3.0L/3.2L SHO Pinpoint Test G.
