E: Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) Solenoid



PINPOINT TEST E: DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES 624: EPC CIRCUIT FAILURES AND 625: EPC DRIVER CIRCUIT OPEN IN PCM

This Pinpoint Test is designed to diagnose the EPC solenoid electrical system ONLY.
To prevent replacement of good components, note that the following areas may be at fault:
- Engine - Performance
- Electrical - Battery, input sensors, wiring harnesses
- Transmission - Internal transmission components, cooling

This Pinpoint Test is designed to diagnose the following components:
- Transmission Wiring Harness, EPC, EPC PWR
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Refer to the following schematic and charts when performing the Pinpoint Test steps.
