Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: The Cruise Control System is controlled by the PCM






1. Disconnect two electrical connectors at speed control amplifier.
2. Remove two screws attaching speed control amplifier and bracket assembly to left hand side of instrument panel.
3. Remove speed control amplifier and bracket assembly from instrument panel.
4. Remove two bolts and nuts attaching speed control amplifier assembly to mounting bracket.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
6. Mounting Bracket torque 1.6-2.3 N.m (14-20 lb.in.)
7. Amplifier Mounting Bracket 5-7 N.m (44-62 lb.in.)
