NOTE: When replacing a driver side air bag module or passenger side air bag module, a prepaid return postcard is provided with the replacement air bag module. The serial number for the new part and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be recorded and sent to Ford Motor Company.

The various major assemblies in the driver side air bag module or passenger side air bag module have been designed to be tamper-resistant and are not to be disassembled for service.

WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE AIR BAG COVER WITH A RH FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY.

NOTE: Component may be removed and replaced as directed by the Testing and Inspection procedures.
