Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair

1. Remove lower steering column shroud.
2. Remove steering column retaining nuts and lower steering column to floor.
3. Disconnect actuator/solenoid electrical connector.
4. Remove ignition/shifter interlock cable to steering column attaching screws.
5. Remove solenoid from solenoid retainer bracket.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
