Refrigerant Oil Addition






NOTE: A new service replacement compressor contains 5.91 oz of refrigerant oil.

When replacing system components, add or drain the following quantities of refrigerant oil:
- Condenser: add 1.0 oz.
- Accumulator: same amount drained from old accumulator plus 1 oz.
- Evaporator core: 3 oz.
- Replacement of other components such as hoses does not require any additional refrigerant oil.

COMPRESSOR
1. Drain and measure oil from old compressor.
2. Drain oil from new compressor into clean measuring device.
3. Install equal amount plus 0.676 oz of new oil to compressor.
