Brake Signal: Adjustments

Brake ON/OFF Switch:

1. Disconnect the Brake ON/OFF (BOO) switch electrical connector.
2. Loosen the BOO switch nuts.
3. Connect an ohmmeter across the switch terminals.
4. Position the switch until the ohmmeter indicates continuity.
5. Carefully move the switch toward the brake pedal until the ohmmeter indicates the switch is open (infinite resistance).
6. Rotate the switch toward the brake pedal one-half additional turn and tighten the BOO switch nuts.
