P13 Check For Intermittent Wiring Fault

- Install 60-pin breakout box. Make sure the correct Econoline 4WABS overlay is installed.

- Monitor continuity between breakout box Pin 22 Circuit 523 (R/PK), and Pin 9 Circuit 519 (LG/BK).

- Drive vehicle over rough road at various speeds.

NOTE: Turn the speaker or beeper of the Rotunda 88 Digital Multimeter 105-00053 on to help indicate continuity.

- Monitor continuity between breakout box Pin 22 Circuit 523 (R/PK) and Pin 1 (Ground).

- Drive vehicle over rough road at various speeds.

- Monitor continuity between breakout box Pin 9 Circuit 519 (LG/BK) and Pin 1 (Ground).

- Drive vehicle over rough road at various speeds.

- Is continuity ever indicated in either of the three cases?

YES -- Find and repair source of wiring fault in Circuits 519 (LG/BK) and 523 (R/PK). Go to P14. P14 Verify Concern Is Resolved

NO -- Replace sensor. Go to P14. P14 Verify Concern Is Resolved
