Ignition Rotor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove distributor cap.
2. Remove distributor rotor by pulling upward on the distributor rotor from the distributor shaft.
3. Inspect distributor rotor for cracks, carbon tracks, burns, or damage.
4. Replace the distributor rotor if damage is found.

INSTALLATION

1. To install align the locating boss and fully seat the distributor rotor on the distributor shaft.
2. Reinstall distributor cap.
