Compression Check: Specifications

AllData Editors Note - Ford does not provide a cranking pressure specification, only an acceptable range.

Compression pressures are considered within specification if they are at least 350 psi and the lowest reading cylinder is within 50 psi of the highest.

NOTE: Variations exceeding specifications indicate an improperly seated valve or worn/broken piston rings.
