Upper Series Floor Console

Removal and Installation
1. Using hand pressure, tree four (4) snapping clips attaching console finish panel assembly (message center will be removed with finish panel).
2. Disconnect four (4) electrical connectors to message center.
3. Remove console panel control finish panel by releasing six (6) snapping clips.
4. Disconnect electrical connector (light bulb with blue filter) for console ashtray.





5. Remove screw in main wire connector to disconnect, then pull connectors apart (screw is located in the instrument panel side of connector).
6. Remove two (2) screws attaching console to instrument panel.
7. Remove two (2) screws attaching console to floor pan.
8. Slide console rearward to release rear bracket (front console bracket is money clip shaped and will release as console is slid rearward.
9. Lift console from vehicle.





For installation, follow removal procedure in reverse order.
