Inspection
INSTALLATION
1. Position the front disc brake caliper anchor plate on the front wheel hub and spindle.
2. Install the two caliper anchor plate bolts. Tighten the bolts to 98-132 Nm (73-97 ft lb).
3. Position the brake shoe and lining in the front disc brake caliper anchor plate.
4. Slide the disc brake caliper over the brake shoe and lining.
5. Install the caliper slide pins. Tighten to 30-36 Nm (23-26 ft lb).
6. Using new copper washers, install the flow bolt through the front brake hose fitting and into the disc brake caliper. Tighten the flow bolt to 30-40 Nm (22-29 ft lb).
7. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Refill the brake master cylinder reservoir with clean Ford High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AA or equivalent DOT 3 fluid meeting Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A.
10. Perform brake bleeding procedures.
11. Test the brakes before moving the vehicle.
