Rear

OPERATION
The inboard and outboard rear brake shoe and lining pad are not interchangeable. The inboard rear brake shoe and lining is equipped with a spring clip that secures it in the disc brake caliper piston. The outboard rear brake shoe and lining has a spring clip that holds it on the rear disc brake caliper housing. The spring clips also serve an anti-rattle function.

NOTE: The LH inboard brake shoe and lining is not interchangeable with the RH inboard brake shoe and lining. This also applies to the outboard brake shoe and lining.

CONSTRUCTION
The rear brake shoe and lining material is of a design and composition meant to withstand the extreme heat caused by the friction of the braking action on the rear disc brake rotor (2C026). The original equipment rear brake shoe and lining material contains no asbestos.
