Condenser HVAC: Description and Operation

A/C Condenser Core

The A/C condenser core is a component of the refrigerant system that removes heat from the system by transferring it to the outside air. This heat transfer takes place when the high-pressure vapor delivered by the A/C compressor to the A/C condenser core is changed by the condensation process to a high-pressure liquid as it leaves the A/C condenser core. It is important to remember that the amount of heat given up by the A/C condenser core will exactly match the amount of heat absorbed by the A/C evaporator core.
