Hazard Warning Flasher: Description and Operation
Indicator FlasherAll vehicles use an electronic indicator flasher (13350) unit. A three wire flasher unit is used on Aerostar vehicles. The flasher unit on Ranger, Explorer is a five wire unit.
The Aerostar indicator flasher has a single battery feed to flash the turn signals and the hazard lamps. The Ranger, Explorer indicator flasher has a separate battery feed and output wires for the turn signals and the hazard lamps.
