Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

The following chart lists all of the acronyms displayed on the NGS tester for the Automatic Ride Control (ARC) System.

NGS PID Name - PID Description
CCNTARC - Number of continuous DTCs on ARC
VSS ARC - Vehicle speed
F FILL - Front fill status
R FILL - Rear fill status
AS GATE - Front/rear gate solenoid status
AS VENT - Vent solenoid status
AS COMP - Compressor relay status
RFSHK E - Right front shock encoder
IGN RUN - Ignition run detect
BOO ARC - Brake status
4X4Low - 4X4 low (if equipped)
DR OPEN - Door ajar
LFSH E - Left front shock encoder
LRSH E - Left rear shock encoder
RRSH E - Right rear shock encoder
STEER B - Steering sensor B
4X4HIGH - 4X4 High (if equipped)
HGTSENS - Height sensor
STEER A - Steering sensor A
PCM ACC - PCM ACC
FHGTSEN - Front height sensor
RHGTSEN - Rear height sensor
VBATARC - V Batt
OPSTRAT - Operational strategy
LATCH - Indicates "CHANGED" when an input has changed states since the codes were last cleared. Refer to I/O circuit check.
