TRANSMISSION - 4R44E/4R55E - TRANSMISSION OVERHAUL AND SEAL KIT - SERVICE TIP

ISSUE:
The Transmission Overhaul and Seal kit contains some components that are unique to the A4LD transmission and should not be used when servicing 4R44E/4R55E transmissions.





ACTION:
When using the Transmission Overhaul and Seal Kit (FOTZ-7C391-B) to service 4R44E/4R55E transmissions, the parts that are unique to these transmissions must be ordered separately (see Usage Chart). Separate service kits will be available for the A4LD and 4E44E/4E55E soon. Refer to the following 4R44E/4R55E Service Part Usage Chart for correct part usage.

CAUTION:
FAILURE TO SUBSTITUTE THESE COMPONENTS WITH THE A4LD COMPONENTS FOUND IN THE KIT WILL RESULT IN TRANSMISSION AND/OR TEST EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.
