NO ENGINE BRAKING IN MANUAL 1ST POSITION
1. Improper fluid level.
2. Improper band/clutch pressure, line pressure high/low.
3. Transmission shift cable or bracket damaged or misadjusted.
4. Main control (valve) body:
a. Bolts improperly torqued.
b. Gasket damaged or out of position.
c. Separator plate damaged.
d. Main control body valves or springs damaged or missing.
e. Wrong component used in rebuild.
f. Check ball E not seating.
5. Coast clutch improperly assembled in rebuild.
6. Overdrive clutch damaged.
7. Coast clutch seal rings damaged.
8. Reverse band servo leaking or damaged.
9. Reverse band glazed, worn, or damaged.
10. Polished or glazed direct reverse drum
11. Rear one way clutch damaged.
