SLIP OR CHATTER IN MANUAL 2ND POSITION
1. Improper band/clutch pressure, line pressure high/low.
2. Main control (valve) body:
a. Bolts improperly torqued.
b. Gasket damaged or out of position.
c. Separator plate damaged.
d. Main control body valves or springs damaged or missing.
e. Wrong component used in rebuild.
f. Dirty or sticking main control body.
3. Intermediate band misadjusted.
4. Intermediate band servo piston, lever, or strut damaged.
5. Intermediate band servo piston internal leaks.
6. Polished, glazed, or worn intermediate band drum.
