Connecting Rod Nut/Bolt

1. Tighten the connecting rod cap bolts to 22-27 N.m (16-19 lb ft).

2. Paint a mark on each connecting rod cap bolt head.
3. Use the marks as a reference and tighten the connecting rod cap bolts by turning them 90° ±7°.
