Brake Signal: Service and Repair

1. Remove the lower steering column shroud.
2. Disconnect the Brake ON/OFF (BOO) switch electrical connector.
3. Remove the BOO switch by rotating it 90° and pulling it out from the brake pedal.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. To be sure that the BOO switch is properly seated, push the BOO switch in until it bottoms out against the brake pedal.
