Clutch Switch: Service and Repair

Clutch Pedal Assembly:

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the adaptive strategy.

2. Disconnect electrical connector from the back of the CPP switch.

3. Rotate the CPP switch 90° in either direction and remove it from the mounting bracket.


INSTALLATION

1. Install the CPP switch into the mounting bracket and rotate 90° in either direction.

2. Connect the CPP electrical connector.

3. Connect the battery ground cable.
