Component Tests

Checking Power Steering Switch:

1. Disconnect Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch connector.

2. Check PSP switch continuity with an ohmmeter. Start engine, with wheels in straight ahead position (not being turned), there should be no continuity. Rotate the steering wheel fully left and right, the switch should show continuity.

3. If not as specified, replace sensor.
