Temperature Sensor, Transmission Control

DESCRIPTION
The Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor is a two wire thermistor located on the main control valve body.

OPERATION
The TFT receives a voltage signal which is reduced by the resistance of the sensor in accordance with temperature. The signal is then sent to the Powertrain Control Module which interprets the voltage signal to determine transmission fluid temperature.
